Maine Record Thresher Shark

Tammy York sent us some pictures of her husband and his record breaking shark. It seems Steve York went on his first shark fishing trip ever and is now hooked - pun definitely intended!

Here is one of the a photos of the 628 pound, 17 foot thresher shark that Steve caught 25 miles off the coast of Maine, fishing out of Spring Point Marina in South Portland, Maine. In the photo is Captain Bob Soucy, Mike Soucy, and Tammy's husband Steve. They were fishing as part of a charity shark tournament. Click on the picture for a larger view.
