Entry fee, including Captain’s dinner, is $60 per boat prior to February 15th and $80 thereafter. Entry fee for the new Junior Angler Division is $10 per angler.

Grand prize is a 16 foot Lowe Jon Boat, 25 hp 4-stroke Mercury motor and a Loadmaster trailer valued over $8,000. Cash and merchandise prizes will be awarded through 15th place, plus 5 $100 mystery weight awards. Who knows, you might catch a ten pounder like this one Captain Dave Sipler caught earlier this winter.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Captain’s meeting at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 22, in the JOSFC clubhouse at the Mayport boat ramp.

Captains may register by mail, at any of the JOSFC meetings held the first and third Thursdays of the month, or at the captains meeting on the 22nd. Check out begins at 6:30 a.m. on the day of the tournament, registration ends at 6:59 a.m., fishing begins at 7 a.m. and weigh-in is from 2 to 4 p.m. Spectators are welcome, may participate in the raffles and enjoy a great fish fry dinner for $5.00. The Fish Fry begins at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

This annual tournament draws quite a number of small boats who are otherwise unable to fish in a tournament. If you are in the Jacksonville area, stop by and share in the fish fry!
