To put it in the words of Keith lambert, member of Marina Del Rey Angler's, "6/25/99
Albacore trip south of San Diego California.  I had my TLD 25 loaded
with 30# mono trolling a plain cedar plug out on the corner and got a
good hookup.  After the first twenty minutes the small rod belt began to
hurt and the wear on my arm was becoming very noticeable.  The guys on
the boat began to razz me a little as they were pulling up the albacore
tuna in 5 - 6 minutes unless they were using ultra light line.  I asked
for a bigger, full size, rod belt and took more ribbing.  45 minutes
into the fight the teasing turned into "Nice Fish!" and "Well Done!" as
the biggest fish for the trip hit the deck.  A 55 pound Yellowfin Tuna.
My brother, Carl, gaffed the fish and had a big grunt pulling the fish
over the side onto the deck.  The location was above the 542-f mark.
