Fishing has been a part of my life for the past fifty or more years. I have done just about every kind of fishing, and I hope to be able to continue for a much longer time. Over the past several years, I have been privileged enough to tell you about some of my many fishing experiences. My hope is that you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed sharing them with you.
As we celebrate this Christmas, maybe you can sit back and remember some ghosts from your Christmas past. I know I will. I'll remember fishing with my father and uncles as I grew up. I'll remember teaching my kids to fish and the look on their faces as they unwrapped fishing tackle on Christmas morning.
Some would say I obsess on fishing. Maybe I do, but it is an activity that has been so good to me and for me and my family.
I will be sitting back this week remembering all the great trips we made; I'll reopen each and every present from Christmas past; and, I'll catch those same fish over and over as I do every Christmas morning.
This is a time to celebrate. My wish for you is that your Christmas is a very happy and peaceful day. My hope is that you will be able to celebrate Christmas with your family and that you will, as I do, relive all the good ghosts from Christmas past.
