Description
- Stainless steel means less chance for rusting
- 17 tools in one, although remembering that you have one may be a trick!
- Folds to fit in a nylon belt pouch
- Has a dehooker and long needle nose pliers to facilitate hook removal
- Has a wire cutter - but I would only use it for monofilament line.
Guide Review - Sheffield 17-in-1 Multi Tool
I found that it cuts monofilament line with no problem; it cuts braided line with some effort; and, it has some issues with cutting wire. The cutting edges are not sufficiently hardened to cut very heavy wire. I would use it for monofilament only.
I like the split ring tool on the end of the long nose. That helps me change some lures.
Being made of stainless steel, they are rust resistant, but not rust proof. I suggest a washing in freshwater after every trip. That will keep the tool viable for a long time.
Overall I was satisfied that the tool can perform as advertised with the exception of cutting a wire leader.
