Guys don't get to have all the fun! The Gold Coast Lady Anglers (GCLA) have just announced their calendar for 2008: with five all-gal charters on Mirage and three on SeaJay, both out of Pt. Hueneme, California.
GCLA is a women's saltwater fishing club founded in 2001 and based in Ventura. In addition to monthly meetings, the women arrange charters, casting clinics, knot tying seminars and the like, to encourage gals of all levels of experience, backgrounds and professions to share their passion for fishing. Recently they also published a collection of recipes in their "The Hook 'Em and Cook 'Em Book" available on the web.
Membership is $40 annually; events and excursions are extra. Go to www.goldcoastladyanglers for more information.
