Hello!  I'm Ron Brooks your guide here on the Saltwater Fishing site at The Mining Co.  Together we can find all the information and entertainment to be found about Saltwater Fishing.  I was born in Miami and was raised in Key West and Miami.  I have fished from Maine to California, and most points in between.  My mother used to say I was born with a silver fish hook in my mouth!  If it swims in saltwater, I have probably fished for it or written about it as a freelance writer.

I have a BS in Professional Management and an MBA.  In my spare time, I am a freelance newspaper and outdoor magazine writer, specializing in fishing.
