Columbia Falmouth Parka Jacket

I have been fishing each fall for the past several years in a jacket that just fits the bill perfectly. Nothing can make you colder than a chill wind off the water that cuts through your clothing. This Columbia Falmouth keeps that wind out.

It is water resistant, and for me that includes a pretty good drizzle. Waters beads and runs off the material in all but a heavy rain. About a year ago I treated my two year old jacket with Scotch-Guard and water still beads and runs off. This is a great jacket to have when full foul weather gear is just not warranted.

My wife washes mine and tosses it in the dryer after every fishing trip, and it comes out just fine. I have been known to wear it to a football game or two as well.

This is a great jacket that, in addition to being a great windbreaker, is just heavy enough to be very warm even on some cold days. Running at 30 knots in a cold wind, the only part of me that gets cold is my hands! I wish I had some gloves made of this material!
