I saw a picture of Clint's multi-spotted redfish and wanted to share my uncanny picture of the redfish I caught in Pine Island it was about 30" and had over 200 spots also
Here's How and Where I Caught It
It was caught in early May in a deep mangrove pocket. Off Cayo Costa, Pine Island Sound, Florida. We had passed this spot many times with out giving it a second look. For some reason we decided to anchor and give it a try. I'm glad we did after getting settled my dad caught the first fish it was about a 20" red not bad to start. Then we caught several keeper mangrove snapper. But the prize catch was soon to follow, I cast way in the mangroves and within seconds I hooked the nicest redfish fish of my life so far.

- Try new areas - we had passed up this spot many times and when we finally stop to fish it, the spot produced
